PAINTIQUE is where old furniture finds new life through art.
Each of our pieces is carefully selected, meticulously repaired (when necessary), and painstakingly hand-painted to bring
out its very best qualities, emphasizing the charm so often found in furnishings from days gone by. We believe that every
piece of furniture has its own life, and that quality pieces should be passed along for generations to come.
Many of our pieces were unable to make the trip when their owners relocated. Others were homeless. Some were abused by previous
owners. Most, though, fell victim to redecorators with "modern" tastes.
Here at Paintique, we have "old" tastes, and we're more than happy to provide a furniture shelter and some tender loving care
while we restore these pieces toand often beyondtheir former glory.
Our goal is to find each piece a loving home where it will provide faithful service for many years to come, asking only gentle
hands and admiration in return. For those who love old furniture beautifully paintedthis is the place for you.
We place our furnishings into three categories: Paintique (which we paint in colors), Paintique White Label (which we paint white),
and Paintique Finds (which we leave looking the just the way we found them). All of our furniture is green (in the earth-friendly sense), and we use no lead- or oil-based paints.

Regardless of color, all of our furniture is "green" in the truest sense of the word. When you acquire a Paintique piece, you're not only
saving a tree, but reducing power consumption and greenhouse gases as wellbecause new furniture requires new lumber, electricity, and
power plants.
All of our paints are water-based mixtures of recent manufacture; we do not use oil-based paints or lead paints (which have been shown to
cause brain damage in children and pets who chew on lead-painted surfaces).
